Email account configuration for an iPhone Print

  1. Start by selecting the settings icon from your home screen.
  2. Select "Mail, Contacts, Calendars" from the menu:
  3. Select "Add Account..." from the menu:
  4. Select "Other" from the menu:
  5. Select "Add Mail Account" from the list:
  6. Enter all the relevant details and select "Next":
  7. Server Information
    Incoming mail server (POP3): mail.yourdomain.tld (mail.example.co.za)
    Outgoing mail server (SMTP): mail.yourdomain.tld (mail.example.co.za)

    Login Information
    User Name: Enter your full address in the format username@yourdomain.tld
    Password: Enter your email password

  8. Select "IMAP" from the top of the screen:
  9. Scroll down to "Incoming Mail Server" and enter all the relevant details and select "Next":
  10. Scroll down to "Outgoing Mail Server" and enter all the relevant details and select "Next":
  11. When prompted with the "Cannot Connect uing SSL" pop up message. Select "Yes":
  12. You will then be prompted to "Save" or "Edit", you can select "Save".

Congratulations, you have now successfully configured your email account on your iPhone.
